Brad joined the business in 2002. He has 27 years' experience primarily in the funds management and stockbroking industry, and has overall responsibility for managing the Australian equities team, process and portfolios. Prior to joining Nikko AM Australia, Brad was Director, Corporate Finance with Westpac, a Senior Resource Analyst with Ord Minnett and in his early career, a geologist working with a number of resource companies. Brad has portfolio management responsibilities for the Nikko AM-Tyndall Australian Share Wholesale Strategy and Nikko AM-Tyndall CVA Plus Strategy. He has analyst responsibilities for Banks.
Jason Kim, Portfolio Manager & Senior Analyst
B Economics, M Economics, F. Fin, FIAA (Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia)
Jason joined the business in 2000. He has 24 years’ experience, including 21 years in funds management and three years with the Commonwealth Public Service. Prior to joining, Jason worked with ASSIRT and Deutsche Funds Management as a quantitative analyst and portfolio manager focusing on strategic asset allocation, managed funds research and risk control. Jason is co-portfolio manager for the Nikko AM-Tyndall Australian Share Wholesale Fund, Nikko AM-Tyndall CVA Plus Strategy and Nikko AM-Tyndall Australian Share Concentrated Fund. He has analyst responsibilities for the Insurance sector.
Michael Maughan, Portfolio Manager & Senior Analyst
B Commerce, CA
Michael joined the business in 2007. He has 18 years’ experience in the stockbroking and funds management industry. After training and qualifying as a chartered accountant he moved to London, initially as a research analyst with BNP Paribas and then as an analyst and portfolio manager with Gartmore Investment Management. Michael co-manages the Nikko AM-Tyndall Australian Share Income Fund and an Institutional Share Income mandate. He has analyst responsibilities for the Media, Telecommunication Services and Transportation/Logistics sectors.
